Learning curve
The work was commision based. You are financially unstable. Because you only get paid as long as the clients pay their policies. There are months that you dont get paid because of lapses coming through.

My experience at old mutual
It was a challenge but a pleasure working at old mutual as I experienced working with cucustomers on a day to day basis. It taught me how important it is to give good customer service and how to communicate in a professional manner. A customer is always right and I've learnt how to maintain a good relationship with the clients. I have grown and learnt alot about how to communicate and treat clients in a professional manner and also learnt that it's only aboit getting the customer to put their signature on the dotted line but it's about building a relationship and instil trust in them.

Highly focused and good client base ,good working environment

Excellent on sales
yes sometimes I have typical day because in insurance you not always find people who will listen to you and fall for you easily but as a good financial advice I know to deal with the situation easy and calm.as a result of co-workers everything is on top because I know my limite and iknow my job. What I learn from this s job I learn so much because I learn how to communicate with other people and people listen to very well and I enjoy my job because some the don't how to take care of the financial because I am financial advice I advise them ,something that I will never thought that I will do that by myself this job has so many challenges because people are not the same and sometimes other insult us and they look us as fool because we sell insurance product, but they are wrong insurance companies are the most power job that allows advise to do as the please if you decide to sleep you sleep as well the money sleep.

I enjoy meeting clients setting up appointments, building a relationship with clients looking after the clients best interest to be punctual give clients the proper advice making sure clients understand what I'm talking about reassuring clients that I'm the right person to look after them

Excellent learning curve
My current has taught me a lot, it gave me an opportunity to visit a lot of companies to do presentation and travel to different destinations in order to find clients. I also made new friends and had to learn about other companies but the difficult part about it is when i go to do presentation at the big companies, i sometimes panic because i want to make the best impression. The company has so many staff and we are all friendly to each other, the job has taught me to communicate well with people and that is the most important thing i love about it. I am looking for other challenges in other industries to use my skills that i have learned with my current company.
