Pick n Pay has has taken me from a space planner for retail to a Buyer, i have learnt more than anyone could have imagined e.g. How to mange margins product level as well as DC margins, daily pricing as well as promotional, negotiating daily with suppliers, dealing with store issues and finding a solution for it, ensuring that the DC is running smoothly and all vendors comply to the DC requirements, Managing customer complaints, Forecasting promotional activity and reaching sales and margin budgets, presenting category plans to all HOD's for sign off and the list can go on.
Pros: Great opportunity for Promotions with the company
Cons: Hard supplier negotiating and 12 hour days, everyday

It's not easy to work with more than 20 people but I'm interested in this job and willing to do my best to this job I also have 4 years experience on cashier and cashuping

Great learning and introduction to the working world.
A typical day at work starts at 7am and ends at 5pm. During the day, one will run reports, sign off adverts as well as to review financial performance. Co workers are very kind and have a good willingness to assist. In my department, knowledge sharing is highly prevalent. I have learnt the art of reporting. I enjoy working with numbers. I am challenged by the advertising aspect of the role.

Learning
I'm working at pick n pay under an agent called costars, and i am working as a picker there. On my we work twelve hours night shifts only. I'm working on cold storage there so it's easy for me to get sick and thats what i don't like about my job. And it is difficult to pick because us as pickers we have to reach a certain target. I have a good relationship with my co-workers, when we are working.. we assist each other in order to finish the job on time. In my work i learned that you have to be committed to your job, you have know how to handle pressure, your mind must be at what you're doing all the time. I also learnt about safety, you have to be safe at work all the time, like you have to ware boots and reflectors. I enjoy working with my co-workers they are good people, my supervisor doesn't get bored easily. He can handle pressure, he understands our weaknesses and abilities and he is an approachable guy. Lack of system's network is a huge challenge the, and they have old equipment

I'm having a good customer service like to work with people...and I'm helpful to them...i like to assist and help customer / client to what ever they want .....I like and respect my manager as they are doing to me...i like to work as a team

Excellent service
Lebogang Molokomme a reliable lady who's willing to give good customer service, I also know how to type fast in office work. I also give more attention to a customer , have good eye contact to a customer. I have a good relationship with my colleagues and also my managers. I'm looking forward to grow within the company be able to manage my own store in future.

I have gained so much experience in all store departments
I am honest reliable hardworking individual who is passionate about giving a good customer care.. I have good interpersonal skill I can work independently. I have five years i n customer service. Getting along with my colegues is the besy priority
