We have to work hard at the end we get small salary

they were doing favours to other people when you ask to sign a leave form they will tell you that you are not allowed to sign the form and at that time i was expecting a baby then i just resigned

Pros: not for us for other people its a great opportunity
Cons: from the morning until the shop closed

Daily experiences

Read all overnight emails - prioritize my tasks for the day, most important / urgent attended to first Return missed calls Attend to overnight queries / send to relevant parties to be handled Discuss with team promotions / points of interest for the day/ week Put plan into action Difficulties - communication gap between service providers and managers , extremely difficult to get messages of vital importance across - try new methods of communication: watsapp groups, emails, post.....still come up short sometimes Exciting is the when it all comes together - getting goods at a good price, selling huge volumes and making huge profit margins - keeps the Adrenalin pumping Learning - ongoing how to deal with situations in a quicker, simpler way to enhance the organisation with minimum impact

Pros: Opportunity to increase profit margins
Cons: support from senior management - the gap which impacts on executing my duties to the best of my ability

Excellent

I am currently working for the best retailor in the fmcg industry. Working with a store team that goes an extra mile in ensuring that the job gets done. I have the best working relationship with my team. I am new in this industry as i previously worked in the fashion industry, everything was new to me and challenging as well.

Pros: Career path that is tracked.
Cons: working hours a huge concern for a family person

Great learning experience, opportunity to lead

I was given an opportunity to grow within the company , but not enough time to spend with the family which I believe it's the most important as we need to be involved in our children growth. I am very greatful for the opportunities and growth I received within the company.

Cons: driving long distance, long hours, working on holidays, sometimes doing double shifts which is day and night,

It was a learning experience

First thing I do when get to work is check if my company brand stock is on the shelves. Fill up the shelves and help customers with their needs. Help my fellow colleagues with their work if I'm done with myne. I really enjoy making sure that everything is on the shelves and packed neatly. What challenges me mostly is when the stock is not being delivered or unavailable in the stock room.

Pros: There is a great chance of growth within the company
Cons: Struggling to get back home because of scarce transportation
