Good company to the Bosses
I was treat badly my Manager wanted to sleep with i refuse then He terminate my contract.I had nothing to defend myself and i hopeless i dont have a job.There was racism and favouristm if you not their favourate they abuse you emotional and physical so that you can quit the job.

Not good
Ok grocer Soshanguve where I've worked there was sometimes unpleasant working conditions because they will hire on daily basis. SMOST of the staff will only work a month and not come back because of 1200 monthly payments

It was a pleasure to work at ipick n pay because I have an experience
Thamk you pick n pay for hiring me and I have learned alot from you,my experience will open doors for me so that I can reach out to my goals,this company is very huge and also have enough staff to do the job.Hopefully I glad that I was one of the pick n pay family.

All pick n pay employees are well trained and are also disciplined.
To work for pick n pay is a great honor and a great opportunity for promotion,I have learnt to respect others and to be on time and how to communicate with people including managing staff and supplies.i enjoy working with people and the most challenging part about my job is I must always be vigilant and observant in everything I do and I must lead by example.

Gaining experience
I was working at pick n pay protea north for 3 years ,I learn about good customer service,and HOA to communicate with customersand HOA to handle a difficult customers ,I was enjoy to work as a cashier because I always smile with the customer ,I know how to work fast and how to work under pressure

Learning curve
Good company , needs leadership adjustment ,right people in the right places needed , good benefits ,good workers , balance needed in work and family .... open communication needed, in general a superb company with few drawbacks

Working at pick n pay taught me a lot. I am their product and equipped with lot's of experience.
I have been working at pick n pay since my first position I grew to where I was in the same environment . I have acquired lots of experience and knowledge on how things run in the workplace. Customer service is one of the most important things I learned and is very crucial. It is not always easy to manage people some are difficult but it was also one of my leaning scripts. When we worked so hard and reached the turnover it was the most important and happiest day of my life. The store manager I was working with always gave me an opportunity to initiate new plans sent by head office. They most difficult thing I had to do was to discipline and let go of the most loyal and hard working employee because of a mistake he committed.
Pros: I started as data capturer to assistant manager
Cons: Working from 6am to 7pm

Brilliant Company, excellent brand
Well known and established company. Living their brands and success is the drive of each employee. I have learnt a great deal in the FMCG and Retail industry, within a major role player. Even though relatively new in the company, I have a great mentor with the same ambition in life, as myself.
