i really enjoy my work because working with computer, salaries and helping people is what love and enjoy doing beacause i really think iam good at. my relationship with co-workers is very good we get alone like one family. i have learned a lot is this defense force like respect, abidance, discipline, understanding other people, patience, term work, perseverance and hard work. i enjoy most working hard and learning everyday new things. my most challenging aspect is going to deployments for six months.

Quality and accuracy of work
The experience im getting is very crucial im enjoying the most of it,sometimes very challenging but worth it What i like about my job is that it open doors for me, it actually buys me time to learn lot of things and expand my knowledge It requires a very exceptional person and someone who's eager to learn in order to grow,someone who's very good in terms of team work,taking responsibilities and always doing the job diligently... What i don't like about my job is that it requires a lot of time,we work long hours and you really have to pay attention and stay focused all the times. The environment is very acceptable,very good people im working with we have a nice relationship
Pros: It give the right platform towards the career of your choice.
Cons: The working hours are too long and the salary is not that much

Excellent
I have been working in bloemfontein for 9 years and lohatla for 2 years. It's the lot of work sometimes working overtime but not paid for that. The work is very nice but far from home as I'm currently from bloemfointein.

In sandf we deploy with aircraft as technician depending where,It can be Africa DRC or Central Africa.we lead and give instructions to the troops depending to our delegation of duties at that stage,since soldiers are disciplined they follow instructions.We do guard duties at the main gates screening each and every parcel or baggage that is entering or leaving the premises and making sure that civilian are unarmed or they declare their belongings.My co-worker respect rank and they co-perate when i give them a task.I have learnt obedience,discipline and Confidentiality.I enjoy PT,Team building functions and working checking if the job is done in accordance MOP and we follow our sandf force policy.

Good stepping stone
Routen day, administration and attending meetings and crisis management. I have 4 subordinates who are extremely good in what they are doing. I have leant a lot of new things and the most challenging thing was when I had to act in a senior position at a last minute and had to make every difficult decion. What I enjoy the most it's ever changing environment.

I have gained invaluable experience and I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure all tasks provided to me as well as my team is completed to the best of my ability. I have an excellent relationship with co-workers, subordinates and superiors. I was always willing to teach and pass on my experience to young or new incumbents. Work in court as a prosecutor was the most challenging, but also the most rewarding aspect of my job. My work as a (senior) prosecution counsel involved serious and complex matters related to fraud, corruption and contraventions of the Public Finance Management Act. I am a member of the Defence Reserve Force but was utilized on a continuous basis for eleven years. However, due to financial constraints, all positions of reserve force members within the Legal Division were frozen.
Pros: Exposure to all legal fields, including criminal law, disciplinary code, labour law, law of armed combat, law of contracts, etc.

Average
I coordinate well with colleagues. The experiential curve is rather too slow a journey for engineers but it's worth the wait. The most challenging part is to execute especially when the wrong instructions are given out to me. At times it's difficult to associate Engineering with combat- and makes it very much challenging. I enjoy most when there are projects, able to to the project specification. I am looking forward to learning more within the I industry. Thank you

Earn a lot of experience
Working in a military environment helped me with knowledge and interact with different culture and discipline is of high standard and it kept me fit at all time
