Good environment to learn
Well the environment is very friendly so is the stuff. Meetings in the morning before 9am doors open. I always had to push myself to learn beyond my spectrum so to be able to assist clients who come to the office asking something irrelevant to what I do. I enjoyed pushing myself, working there made me more interested in being a secretary.

Excellent company. I was Retrenched.
it was fun working at standard bank,the culture,environment and managers are fairly and its refreshing. however it has its own challenges and pressure like any other business. wouldn't mind going back. It's a good company to work for.

It was a steep learning curve, but a great one.
Standard Bank Group sets the standard for high in the banking industry, its is also the largest bank in South Africa, it offers a variety of retail and commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, investment management. The bank gives out great oppotunities, like studying and uplifting people.

Well experience.
I enjoy working for standard bank if it was not the retrenchment part of it i would definitely remain with the company. I have learned a lot from my team for the past three years in the Randburg branch not a single day i am regretting to have met such people. The challenging part of my work is dealing with angry client but i have learned that if you are calm and put yourself in the client shoes you will understand and you will be able to assist the client in a good way.
Pros: Standard bank is a great company they give you opportunities each year you would go for a course meaning they upskill you.
Cons: Working from 08:00 to 6:00

Excellent learning curve
It requires energy and enthusiasm. It also needs one to anticipate pressure while maintaining composure. It's a day to day a typical environment for face to face customer. Sales and customer service is the most important element. Delivering exceptional service is non negotiable while extending your hand to other departments is a mandate. There's is strong team work. I have learnt a lot of industry experience and to handle pressure while at the same time I gained valuable knowledge. I enjoyed my stay and the people around me. The challenge was to be on toes through out the years and requires one to have more energy and to be ready to travel and think out of the box.

I have good interpersonal relations, a hard worker, i have the ability to multi task,
i am honest and have friendly nature . Good team spirit and respect. I am eager to learn on a new surrounding for growth, where my contribution will be worthwhile and acknowledged and determined to succeed .a team player attitude, good communicating skills. I have learned to prepare financial reports schedule and cordinate meetings, diary managent and making appointments filing documents, making and receiving calls for Financial Planner. The most chellenging aspect of my job was preparing financial repots and arranging meetings,prepare documents for filing.

Hard worker
I am a team player, I communicate well this my supervisor and I like helping when I see i am needed. I enjoyed working with people/ clients and I adapt easily in a new environment.
