The work culture is professional, amazing and I enjoy every minute of my job.
I work closely with the different brand managers of Foschini division; I assist them with their work by briefing the design team, assisting with sponsorship programs or other CSI initiatives. I act as a liaison between the company and other partnership they form. I work closely with collaborate to maximizes the company profit. I also help develop marketing campaigns, market research, production, copywriting and sales strategies. I also do administrative work (creating sourcing letter, creating travel itinerary, tracking sales, check pricing, etc) and also work closely with other functions in the company like VM, design team and stylist.

Autonomy
I can’t see what I’m writing. The box remains white even though I can see that it’s counting the characters of what I’m writing. However I enjoy working at TFG due to the autonomy that they oreovide anus a leaving us to manage our ourselves and our deadlines.

A very humble company
Foschini is a very fun company to work for. The manangers in all departments that I have seen so far always trying to make things fun at the workplace. The relationship with my previous co-workers were always about looking out and motivating each other. Patience is one thing you need to have when dealing with difficult customers and hard work pays off. I enjoyed all the functions the company has for anything that come up for eg. valentines day or pyjama day or anything to make the day exciting. The challenging part was convincing customers to make payments on their accounts especially when the customer is not working and going through a really tough time.

Excellent Learning curve
A typical work day would entail merchandising from early trading hours to midday-from there, customer flow starts picking up therefore you’d have to change and adapt to what’s happening in the store. The relationship you have with co workers solely depends on you and the kind of person you are. The work relationship you maintain with your co-workers is as important in order to produce work and meet deadlines, team work does the dream work! Excellent Learning Curve
There is a lot to learn and the Business side of Retail, very little people in General as well as Sales Assistants doesn't not stay long enough to acquire this knowledge. Retail is a Business and a Brand to be driven by each individual combined with the Vision of the Company. This is something The Foschini Group made me experience. They don't teach you it but this is my account whiles being an employee for them

Knowledge expansion
Every day is great , meeting new clients, working with colleagues who have different personalities. The environment is buzzing and there is blend of cultur.we have days where is crazy hectic and everyone is on work high and a everyone is on a tight schedule but somehow at the end of the day we all strive for a common goal and
