At Foschini Queenstown i became a motivated, ambitious and energetic person who has developed mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake or situation that I am presented with. Excellent in working with others or as a team to achieve a certain objective on time and with excellence. Everyday holds new challenges and it is a friendly environment to be in. Friendly staff,you have a voice as an employee and your opinion counts.

A very humble company

Foschini is a very fun company to work for. The manangers in all departments that I have seen so far always trying to make things fun at the workplace. The relationship with my previous co-workers were always about looking out and motivating each other. Patience is one thing you need to have when dealing with difficult customers and hard work pays off. I enjoyed all the functions the company has for anything that come up for eg. valentines day or pyjama day or anything to make the day exciting. The challenging part was convincing customers to make payments on their accounts especially when the customer is not working and going through a really tough time.

Good learning curve

Working for TFG has been great, there is so much respect for everyone. it gets challenging at times because of work pressure but long hours are worth all the good that the company offers, not in earnings but in respect. a day comes and goes like it was 3 hours, there is always more to be done and less time, there is never a dull moment at all. Co-workers are great, there is team spirit from inbound to outbound, no one takes anything personal because everyone understands that everything is about work. I have learnt to be resilient in pressure and that each and every person is important in the structure. I enjoy having a purpose, each day I wake up there is always a task to be done, orders to fulfill, I think the most boring thing will be to wake up and not knowing what to do in my day. The most challenging aspects will be deadlines, and pressures from the business. Missing deadlines because I had no control is the most challenging part.

Great learning experience lots of training and development

The Foschini group is a wonderful and exciting retail company to work in/for. I have been on many trainings such as managers tool kit, leadership, employee relations and etc... the vibe is good , since I worked in the company always had a great team. The most challenging aspects stock control but with a great team and good mindset you can make the most challenging aspect a good aspect.

Through my experience, I have become adept in overseeing a wide variety of customer-facing responsibilities while demonstrating a steadfast commitment to maximizing customer service and satisfaction. The following achievements demonstrate my qualification for this position: Excelling in consecutive call center service and support positions since 2009 for The Foschini Group Company respectively; contacting customers to advise them in bringing their accounts back up-to-date as the accounts would be in arrears, ensuring the customers as soon as they pay the account up-to-date they can make purchases again, resolving issues in a case where the payment is not reflecting on the system and providing requested information to customers in a professional manner.

Good Communication skills and Good interpersonal relationship

Working for TFG is like working at home as all staff members treat each other like family. I've learnt more, including good communication skills aspecially when coming to customer service and sometimes it's challenging when it comes to difficult customers, we need to be more patient and relaxed to resolve their issues. Every customer is important. I enjoy team work because we share more ideas.

Floor supervisor scheduling stuff runny the floor smoothly

I enjoy working for the company have a good relationship with my co-workers ive learned that hard work pays off because I've grown in this business am went to khulisa which is a training for you to be a good leader and a store manager i enjoy socializing get to know how other people do things and learn

Good and supporting

Month end we everyone is going with de pressure ok kids want expencive good buy that time you can afford we offer account niy some give us bad attitude cause they think we are not educated the things i hsve is that i can manager aggressive customer and working as a team we achieve more.the most part i enjoy is when we make money to our shop treating our customer in good way showing them.love nd support .the most challenging part is when.business its slow we cant give good result but when you work with a smile as ateam in clean environment and make sure you machandise according to times yoi going to make a goos laeder

Great team work and work ethics

I take round about 400 calls a day and it's really comfortable working with my colleagues. I get along really well with my supervisor to a point where we've become friends out of business hours. TFG has taught me patience and understanding. We work under pressure but it becomes easier when we work as a team. I enjoy the regular changes because it gets boring doing the same thing on a daily basis. We change the products based on customer requests. Currently there's nothing too challenging with my current job. I've been there for a while and I've gotten to know the product and the people I work with
