Good

Working at Woolworths was great though it was difficult communicating with other co-workers to avoid what we call work politics.and unnecessary pep talks . I've learnt to work in different parts in the work environment wasn't just cashier but worked at interactive aswel and did some visual abit here and there. I enjoyed interacting with customers and being able to assist them with the store application and keep familiarise with what's on promo.

Pros: There are opportunities because you learn .you go to trainings for different jobs apart from your regular post but after 6 months you allowed .

Awesome company to work for excellent stepping stone of how a large business operates. Teaches us how to act and react with other employees and fellow managers. Extensive training is offered each year of how to better our work ethic and to increase sales.

Excellent customer service

I give good customer service I make the customer to have a memorable moment so that wen they leave the shop they leave with a smile on their face retail is very hard it's all about wat u want and the passion and dedication u give to the job that u are doing thats wat its important.

Pros: U get to meet different people with different characters and u learn a new thing every day
Cons: Working long hours standing on ur feet the whole day but to me it's not a train smash it's about what made me to go there and ask for a job

Excellent in my job and work hard always to improve my skills

Working at Woolworths grows me a lot, in different skills since we interact with different customers everyday but still coping.Willie's has thought me to work as a team,indepent and underpressure especially when it comes to holidays we do extra miles.woolies also thought me to be trustworthy with the company and it's procedures and many more things .

Good management, I've learnt alot of customer services skills and it has boosted my self confidence

I have good relations with the customers conversion to the stuff the most challenging part is customers caring for stuff and complaining about certain things but all in all the work is great event self-confidence and more fluent in English

Excellent learning

My 1 year has been a great opportunity for me to meet new family and learn how some people live in this world. I am really greatful being the woolworths team they have taught me so much in coraborating and more about integrity. It really amazing how the can be towards new members joining the family. But at the end the work has to be done, know how to treat your customers and following your values.

Excellent

I love working with people. I learned how to treat customers in a good way like how to deal with them and how to assist them. I just love the environment because it was my first job that's where I learned how to cope in a busy environment, how to manage queue and to handle incoming and outgoing calls. I love the experience they taught me especially my colleagues and supervisors

Excellent learning curve

An awesome experience as a Till Operator for Woolworths. Enjoyed working with fellow staff and management. Learned alot more now about the Retail industry and also how to engage with customers better.

Learning curve for me

Solving problems and attending customers query ,manage junior staff and answer phone calls, getting customers products that's they need and attending customers and approaching them on the sales floor

Excellent learning opportunities

Woolworths is one off the best company to work for.The typical work day at Woolworths is stress full ,but if you plan yourself it is extremely good.I personally have a good relationship with my co_workers communication is key.I have learn that you don't make assumptions about things get your facts.I enjoy rolling up my sleeve and work as a team.The most challenging aspects of the job is when the sales management come to visit the store and I challenged them.
