A department manager
I am currently a department manager working at Woolworths Welgemoed Forum managing my own team within the Foods market. I have been working in the food market for the past 3 years doing various functions within the retail space such as store layout implementation, stock management, employee improvement, as well as operational functions of the store ensuring the store is operationally compliant in accordance to government legislation, which are only a few of my tasks to mention. I am very task oriented, self �driven, self-motivated, resilient, professional, honest, dependable and I strive on achieving excellent results with each and every task I take on. I tend to always push myself to be better and at the same time gain more knowledge and experience to improve and provide excellent results. I believe I am more than able to successfully fulfil the responsibilities when given the opportunity to, and to will excel in all aspects to ensure my task or job is completed to the best of my ability.

Excellent learning curve
A typical day at work is like going to your second home and meeting up with your other siblings but this time to work for our own personal growth.Ii have learnt that regardless of our backgrounds and differences ,we all human and we all have a purpose and a huge role to play in other peoples lives

Fast paced enviroment ,dealing with a diverse staff compliment of 40 and over 50 suppliers daily
I have a staff compliment of 40.We are responsible for receiving and dispatching of equipment.I have an average of 40 suppliers which I service on or during my shift.I deal directly with suppliers and internal customers. You will have your machine break downs, I.R issues and telephonic and administrative tasks.
Pros: Company with great values.
Cons: Not much opportunity for growth.Structure is quite flat.

Learning
Well working at Woolworths is amazing ,people often say ,if you love what you do ,you will never work a day inyour life . 1. Typical work day is interacting with thousands of people,making sales and growing the brand . 2.Relationship with co workers are great ,I get along with everybody because its worth going to work and interacting with them! 3. Patients 4.Meeting new people 5. Acknowleding people who work hard

Excellent learning curve
A typical work day is like any other days because I am always at work and I enjoy my work very much in the extent that I never complain even though I am always at work. My relationship with co-workers is very good I get along with everyone in my work space which is what makes me unique because always smiling and friendly with the people around me. I've learnt that working hard always brings good results and opportunities that is why I always work hard to prove that I am a good fit for the position. What I enjoy most is getting to know people, getting to learn new things each and every day. I also learnt that working as a team produces good results and more profit to the business. What I enjoy most is being able to help people with whatever they need in that specific time. I also enjoy being around people being able to forget about the world and it's challenges. Excellent learning curve
It was a very excellent platform to grow from a bussines and leadership point of view and everything I learned was sustainable and innovative. The culture was very easy to adapt to the environment.

I try not to be stagnant but learn and teach as much as I can.
III's have been fortunate to have been groomed from within the company and by that I have been able to successfully succeed in my growth aspects, this enables the company to grow and keep staff motivated

Hard worker, fast leaner, work as a team, respect . working on the tills. Nothing was challenging.
My previous company has many opportunities, everyone in the company was happy course they offer us opportunity to have fire fighter certificate for example other certificates.
Pros: Great opportunities for promotion. Gain more experiences, also opportunity to fulfil your dreams.

Excellent learning curve
Good environment to learn retail experience, different opportunities layed to stuff and given new challenges. Better quality company for growth. Understanding of customer and stuff. Give you training every 3 to 6 months to understand the challenge that coming and how to deal with them. Running of department as a young and unexperience leader. Give you a platform to lead a team
