Working for Capitec bank has thought me a lot, independence, team work.
I enjoy doing the work that i do which involves administration, verification of applications and credit checks of merchant applications received. I have learnt to check and verify other peoples work( fellow colleagues) which boosted my confidence in the kind of work that i do. As I am the last check of applications received before i approve them, the bank relies on me to approve the qualifying applications, i would put it as i am the safety proof of the bank.
Pros: Because of the good work and the good worker that i am, i was promoted from application capture to application approver.
Cons: I dislike animosity among team members

Great place to start your career especially if you have no previous experience. Capitec is a learning organisation, so you must be willing to learn. The salary is a bit less then most banks, and very few benefits.

Capitec helped me when Ihad no job and no work experience
It is busy and the working hours are longer than other banks. Client always comes first and service is also a priority. We work as a team only when it suits us and I have learnt that it is not that bad of an organization but the problem is with the management. I enjoy interacting with clients and solving their financial problems and at times lift up their spirits when they are feeling down. The main challenge is the pressure that we get from management and the disrespect at times.

Good Learning curve
I am open for growth and so i feel like I have ex learnt alot and now its time to move on to bigger and better avenues. The working conditions and hours are extremely long.

It's a good and respectable company to work for
It's a good and respectable company to work for The hours are not bad. No weekends off. The clients are smart. The colleagues are the best. The boss is a perfect role model. You learn something new everyday. I enjoy using their equipment. Cutting edge technology. I take about 50 calls from consultants and assist them with technical and financial queries and escalating incidents to the correct departments then sending feedback to them if it has been provided.

Opportunity to gain work experience
I have no time for my child or husband I work every weekend and get one day off in the week , I don't get to see the inside of a church and I feel employees are not treated fairly or looked after when it comes to clients disrespecting us however Capitec provides a door to learn and gain experience
Pros: Capitec is the door to gain experience , they give you a qualification in banking after doing a learnership
Cons: No opportunity for promotions ,Long working hours ,no weekends off , inequality , inappropriate management styles

Excellent learning curve
I enjoy assisting clients with banking needs bank better to live better. Every day was the same thing just different clients sames situations As for working with the team I always get along with anybody
