Edcon is a good company with good areas for growth, i came in as an HR Intern but they saw potential in me and pointed me as an HR Administrator 4 months contract. I am great full for the experience i have gained

I enjoye a lot working in my current work because we always work as a team and we help each other over a difficult area of work. It's important to be friendly with customers and show that you care.meet customer satisfaction. Great all customers and assist them to everything they looking. Make sure you everything is happening in your workplace this Will help you to able to answer when the asking you.

Dynamic, fast moving and leader is fashion retail. Days are always different as a buyer you are being guided by the sales trends and what is happening in the market place. Relationships are key as our roles and responsibilities are inter linked as buyers and planners, assistants and general managers, marketing and operations. Have learnt that the most fundamental thing in an organization is communication,, process management, stakeholder management and most importantly, its ALWAYS about the customer. Range building process, traveling abroad to view fashion trends and developing these tends into SA market. The rand/dollar exchange has been the most challenging factor, as importers.
Pros: Greg exposure in predicting sales trends, good market analysis of consumer behavior.
Cons: Can be stressful due to fast moving pace of business.

Forensic investigations at Ernst & Young specialising in fraud, theft, white collar crime, due diligence and BEE. Successfully completed investigations for Transnet, Anglo Gold, Anglo Coal, Platinum Mines, and Ashanti Mines, work carried out in South Africa and internationally. Successfully conducted investigative work for major banks. (Internal and external fraud theft and corruption, consultant on many projects including investigations for the SA Reserve Bank) Successfully conducted investigative work for London based underwriters in South Africa. This investigation entailed internal fraud, theft from containers, VAT fraud and theft of containers. Advanced in computer skill, report writing and presentation skills

Hard woker,patiant and enegatic
willing to learn and to be appointed as part of ur employee ,with all the work experience that I have in working in retail company made me to be strong and gave me a knowledge on how to work with people and how to treat different customers

Good customer service
They under pay due to long hours and lot of work. There is no enough staff in the store and no enough budget for staff and repair and maintenance. There is a huge gap between the store manager salary and a store admin manager

I am hard worker, good with people , i am able to work well under pressure
i am hard worker, good with people , i am able to work well under pressure . I have learned to work with different personalities in the work place and how to manage them . I enjoy most when as reach out KPI or target as a team .

Not a company for everbody to work in
My typical work day is doing store visit to update staff about layouts,promotions,new structure and display layouts.I have a good understanding with my colleagues and we work well together.I have learned that not everything is black and white and that understanding people is very important to have a good work flow,and a good understanding of the systems you need to work with.I enjoy working with the people in the stores,training and upskilling them.The most challenging is getting to all the stores in a short space of time.Making sure everybody understand their role they plan in the company and to get everybody to work towards one goal
Pros: You have freedom to work as you see fit and to implement your new ideas
Cons: The owner is not always understanding and like to het rid of people he does not like

Growth potential
I learned a t both vodacom and edcon, I t all about customer care and solving technical related queries at vodacom and at edcon my sales experience was enhanced. Both companies moulded me into what iv become and have painted the way in me becoming and industry expert insales,customer care and leadership roles.
