Poor learning curve

I can't even support my family with the money I get every month and I can't pay my daughter's university fees.I would be honoured if I get this job because I would be able to support my family and their needs

We only do one thing everyday

in edcon iam not learning as much as i hoped and believed,we do one thing everyday we not allowed to do what permanent staff do ,we mot allowed to go to payroll and insurance to learn my relationship with other workers is fine they are friendly people at the moment am not enjoying anything there is no challenging expects in the job hence am looking for another internship

Edgars lot of work no opportunities, no development. unless you force yourself to learn no team work, you must do a work that suppose to do to with two or three people, lot of work

I'm a fast learner, computer literate, hard work and young and energetic

I'm a young energetic person that is good with a computer. I do everything to the best of my ability and I enjoy being creative. I'm hard working and a fast learner and would like to grow in the visual industry and I am very interested in the position of the company because I feel that's its time to spread my wings

Great place to learn more

It's a great opportunity to learn more because resources are readily available always. The management is very supportive and helpful. And there are STT competency test that we write from time to time, so we are constantly being trained new skills.

A Different Ball Game

Working for Nicche Electronics I have surprisingly made a Name for myself with all our Suppliers in the High end Audio Visual Technical Industry. I do the Software Programming on Russound, Rako Light Automation, setting up Security Passwords and Usernames on TP Links. I also extract information and footage from CCTV Surveillance Cameras. I have completed a course on URC which is an Advanced Network System Controller and although it is completely out of my comfort zone, I make it my own. I love travelling and working on client sites and the flexibility of the job. I work at a mobile office which is any coffee shop or Internet Cafe I choose. I've had an opportunity to combine all my skills in Administration, Sales, Managerial, Training and Networking to implement and change the game in what is known as a "Mans' World."

Pros: Endless learning and business opportunities.
Cons: Hardly any females in the industry.

Identify current and future customers requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service reguirements, secure merchandise by implementing security system and measures, protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment, drive sales and motivate staff to reach and exceed targets and report week and monthly feedback to Area manager and head office

Excellent 15 years retail experience

Currently I am not employed, Edcon is the last company I worked for which I left 2011 working for myself. Now I am eager to continue my field in retail. The salary I put was the salary I was getting in 2011 as store manager. Currently I am studying LLB with Unisa. I still am very passionate about retail and I would bring a lot of skill to the company. I worked very well with my team, line managers and regional team. I am very influential in system discipline, visual merchandise and stores layout plans. I am a good teacher of the succession plans and always eager to learn new things Thank you

Cons: Holiday working which I am used to
