Negotiations

Chemical engineer
During my work experience i have monitored plant performance,assisted with plant tests and inspections, compiled presentations and technical reports,attended meetings and done minutes,went for different courses and training and was part of different departments at eskom. I have learnt how to work with different types of people and to work under pressure.

Average learning
The learning experience at ESKOM is good because as you get to learn from the employee, they are also willing to help. The benefits include training because the training anf certificates that are obtained are not only for ESKOM but also for other companies in case you leave ESKOM while the certificates are still valid.

Great training
I hereby apply for Electrical Technician , I have completed national diploma in electrical engineering (heavy current) and i have one year experience in Eskom. I am looking for job to show case my skills and to get some experience and i am willing to relocate. Please find the attached cv and supporting documents.

Eskom is a good company to work for
I remember the first day in eskom, warm welcome and I was introduced to different people and department. Everyone focussed on their duties and at the same time being ready to assist. I have learnt a lot, not just from technical point but also how one conduct himself/herself ethically.

Great opportunity
it Was a great experience to work at eskom I learnt a lot,with different task we got each and everyday.unfortunately they didn’t hire us as permanent employees because of the embarko that is affecting the whole company,but in learning it have all the access that you need as a learner to knw about based on safety and your department,it even offer you the short courses like PSR:plant safety regulations but as an internship they don’t allow you to be a responsible person until you are appointed as permanent employee.

Excellent
as a sparesingle coordinator my duties is.to make sure that spares are available for outages, liase with procurement manager and project managers on availability of spares. I also assist with schedule update, planning during during planning phase and execution phase.

Acting project coordinator
I am an acting project coordinator for Eskom,special project department,vegetation projects. I have a good and healthy relationship with all my colleagues from different departments. I have learned humanity,integrity,innovation,customer satisfaction and working safe at all times. Plenty of room to learn and explore in different fields. Presenting projects to funding committees.

Challenging environment
this is very challenging environment, as a technical person every single day i make a commitment to serve the republic efficiently, and continously so in terms of making sure that the electricity is enough for South Africans and I make plans even if the spares are not enough for maitenance, due to many reasons by improvision is done to make sure that electricity is produced.
Pros: I started as Technician and promoted to senior Technician
