A typical day at eskom is firstly tool box talk. You go to sample came back and do the analysis. The colleagues are friendly and the work environment is good. I learnt how to be independent as sometime you need to take decisions that affect the plant. The best part is that Fridays we knock of at 12h00

Great Professional Expereience
My day a work begins as working a team, where we need to talk about the day ahead and feedback on all work in progress. Working as a team in the field of managing fleet required thorough vehicles management which includes ensuring that contracts are in place to meet delivery requirements, receive new vehicles, check for defects, process invoices for payment, create orders to the suppliers to fit ancillaries as requires by our customers, do thorough inspection to ensure ancillaries are fitted as stipulated on contracts, issue new vehicles to customers, conduct assets verification on a six month basis and ensuring the correct policies, procedures and processes are followed and are in lines with the audit requirements.

Excellent Career development
Typical work day: I always start my day as early as possible with a clear mind "early bird catches the fattest worm" and "punctuality is the best morality" those are my drive. Relationship with colleagues: We all come from different backgrounds with different challenges in life.I try to always have a good ear to listen and not be judgmental towards other people challenges in life. What I have learnt: It doesn't matter how old or young a person might be to you, you can learn one or two things from each person you listen to. What I enjoy most: I like to have that time where I am alone and reflect back and analyse my mistake as well as achievements and plan ahead Most challenging aspects of the job: Delays, I always wants to be on time with a proper output

Its a great environment for learning as I able to get my diploma.On my current position I work as a artisan in training restore line,maintaining customer meter,installation of customer faulty meters,maintaining both LV and MV line.do filling,planning,assist stores

Good learning curve
the environment is great, no need to worry about job security, the work is flexible allowing time for work and to manage personal stuff. the relationship with coworkers is good except that the age difference gap is big
