A steep learning and experience curve
Day starts at 6:00am. I respond to project mails and letters from our Chinese sub-suppliers and check in with our resident site inspector on project progress. At 9am I attend our project management and other priority dependent meetings and give feedback on project progress etc. In the afternoons my team and I address technical and quality concerns with our European contractors. My typical work day ends around 6pm. I have a good relationship with my co-workers. We are able to talk freely but retain professional respect for one another at all times. What I have learnt about the project environment and working with project teams - a lot. I enjoy the responsibility the most, to be made responsible of a significant part of this mega project is hugely gratifying and its part of the reason I give this project the amount of effort and time that I do. Most challenging part of the job is working with regulatory bodies.
Pros: the amount of experience and skill that one can develop from a project like this is really only dependent on the amount of energy the individual wishes to put in

Excellent learning curve
Working for eskom made me realise my streangth and weaknesses because I was cappable of working. In a team and alone as a employees of eskom if ur hard working and determined you can grow n develop into other positions

A good foundation for technical experience
With my skills accumulated from my studies in Production, Operations and Asset management, I will be able to achieve the required inputs on my job. My 16 years' experience in the Maintenance, Asset management, and Operations environment will also enable me to make sure that all requirements on the job are of high quality and of competence.

Learning curve
I would say my job is enjoyable with its challenges, especially when I have to balance the comparisons between different financial reports. I have learned and gained much experience in this company, handling of projects funds, the need and importance of forecasting and budgeting, handling of financial information is not an east task with my current position it becomes a challenge when a customer does not understand the content of the bill and I have to explain it in a way that someone who is not in my department is satisfied.

Good learning curve
I had a good experience, I have learned a lot they treated us good and they we patience with us giving us a chance to understand and do things on our own, I have learned a lot mostly on working under maintenance and I enjoyed working there cause we did that frequently and I used to it, the challenge that I faced was when we had to do the job with artisans under cable department, we had a fault on the cable and was very hard to find the fault it took the whole day to find it and after that we had to wait for the contractors to dig the hole so dat we can fix it.

Technically charged environment
I work 8 to 9 hours a day depending on project risk issues of the day I interact quite a lot with other colleagues to resolve interface issues and any other planned activities which require integration of skills and project control management between packages My relationship with my co-workers is excellent and amicable, being measured on tightly managing timelines for project execution I have applied myself quite extensively in the area of process engineering and process chemistry up to the level of being recognized as an expert in my field and subject matter expert in the area of process water treatment technologies respected both by my peers and superiors. I have mastered most analytical laboratory instrumentation (gas chromatography; ion chromatography; atomic absorption spectrometer; ultra-violet light dispersion; auto-titrator etc) I have learnt to apply chemical engineering software for process diagnostics and performance improvement (HYSIS; PRO I and II, ASPEN) up to above average proficiency

Experienced Senior Engineer
I perform plant inspection as part condition monitoring , so as to identify risk and come up with mitigation strategies. I iniate projects/ modifications to ensure that the plant design base updated and the power station will run for it's intended life span. I assist system engineers in their systems with my technical knowledge, sometimes they come to me and some times I go to them depending on targets. I enjoy coming up with solutions in projects or fault finding , and writing respective technical reports.

Excellent learning curve
Good day I would like to apply for a warehouse packer and part time driver, I have not worked in this department before, I don't have experience, but want to learn more about this position, I can start by volunteering training without salary, I am computer literate in Word, Excel and Power Point, like working with different people, customer oriented, willing to start immediately.
