I worked at FNB for six years, then moved to insurance company.

i worked at FNB since 2008 to 2014 then moved to Sanlam currently working as a financial Planner. What i do basically is assisting people with there wealth. My work is not office bases as i go out looking for clients.While i was working for FNB i started as a bank teller then work my way up to being a consultant then Maltiskilled ended up as a OBR Consulted (Large basic of salary + commission). i learned a lot working with people and money. one of the things is the risk for fraud and false identity.

Pros: I always proved myself to get better results, always on target and getting promotions
Cons: working on weekends

Currently growing within the IT industry

Khumo has over a year in her current role as Migration Specialist. She holds a certificate in Human Resource Hiring Practice. She started off her career at Wesbank as a Payment Administrator. She later moved into a Quality Assurer role at Telkom and later into Project Coordination at FNB. After spending about a year at FNB, ABSA also took the opportunity to take her on as an Online Trainer and Digital Channel Migration Team Co-Ordinator. To which she now holds the role of Migration Specialist. Khumo is a diligent and dedicated individual who possess experience. She is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure deadlines are met. An excellent team player who thrives in challenges, a creative thinker who likes to explore alternative solutions to problems and have an open mind about what will work best. mind about what will work best.

Excellent learning curve

Busy day. Need to plan your day. Learned how to manage any client to ensure they have an excellent service expierince. Love working with people an a great team player. Most cenging aspects is ensuring process and procedure is always followed but clients needs to be looked after as well

My Co-workers were good we even meet for collaboration sessions. punctuality and reach my target.

My relationship with my Co-workers was good, when ever I experienced difficulties I would go to them and they would assist. I have learnt that it is important to collaborate and work as a team and share ideas. I enjoyed learning from my mistakes and taking accountability. Challenging aspects of the job you need to know if through the call the agent is not putting the bank at risk and address it immediately.

Pros: Good way to exposure you learn something new everyday, some of the challenges you can resolve on your own. Upskill and have product knowledge
Cons: Once you don't pick up the mistakes in a call. You will be accountable for any negative impact that may occur as the calls will be audited

Excellent learning customers

a typical work day is fun everyday is a new day, new challenges I have a great relationship with my co-workers I have learnt working as one person new adventures challenges that are I face is when there is a lot of work.

Assist on operating switchboard and taking incoming calls; Receiving and screening of calls; Relay Message timeously to appropriate people and follow up when necessary; interact with clients and staff in professional manner; dairy management; schedule and manage internal and external meetings; appointment reminder; anticipate requirement in diary for task other than meetings; preparing of meetings and organising office functions; preparing reference material for meeting; keeping track of new and existing clients through updating contact list; file retrieve all documents electronically; manage filing system on a daily basis; prepare correspondence; format documentation; other support and administration duties; ensure all issues are actioned and deadlines are met; manage stationary suppliers and any other ad hoc secretarial and administration duties; relief on reception as and when required.

FNB is an constant challenge and an incredible learning and upskilling environment

My typical work day is always a busy one. I work in a high paced Operational Environment with no predictability. It encourages you to think on your feet and to rely on team members to assist.

Pros: Promotions in my Business Unit
Cons: No further growth in my environment
