There's always something to learn everyday
Builds character to work well alone and with people, everyday is a challenge, producing effortless customer service is the best part about the job. The pressure is always there to keep one on their toes at all times, which is fun, there's no time to sleep. We help one another as colleagues, if you don't know something, there's no shame in asking. A customer smile after the service is what I always look forward to.

Brilliant opportunity to learn about customer service and team work.
My current position is very challenging and enjoyable. A typical day starts with me planning my day and when my shift starts, execute all of my gals set for the day. This was a challenge when I started working there due to the fact that you would sometimes get irate customers - I have really worked hard at dealing with frustrated customers since I am the voice for Multichoice to make sure that all their customers are a happy after my dealing with them. Most importantly, I am have learned a lot of team qualities and I consider myself a team player.
Pros: Perfect opportunity in my growth.
Cons: Flexi hours have somehow affected some of my days but I seem to now have a grasp on it.

I support all business areas with all HR related queries
I work in a team that support Business support areas, e.g. Finance, HR for HR, CII, Legal,Corporate Affairs, Commerce-zone and Facilities Department(NMS Comm). As an HR Practitioner I support HR Business partners for the division, my daily by the outputs that need that need to be met by the company. During the Performance Optimization period, I will release performance documents to the different managers and they will then meet and re-contract with the employees and then update the KPI's for the period, then they will also sit and do reviews and my area will be to assist with any queries and then report on the scores attained,. In areas where the employees do not meet the required score, I will then make an appointment with manager to initiate a Performance Turn-around Plan to assist employees to meet their objectives.
Pros: gret compnay to work for, the products availiable are great.
Cons: long hours and the load of work is too much, there is slow growth

Perfect intro to customer care
The experience in customer care has taught me the core sentiments of customer care and essence of meeting company requirements, has further more shown me the importance of company policies and company culture.

Great customer service skills
Working for Multichoice gave me great experience. I learned how to deal with different kind of customers. I learned how important it is to work well with your colleague, for they are you other family.

Excellent staff benefits
A typical work day includes assessments administration, report writing and giving feedback. I may get a request for one-on-one assessments feedback which may include career guidance. I enjoy giving career guidance and feedback to employees who've gone through the assessment process. It gives me great pleasure to watch them progress and grow within the company.

Excellent learning curve.
Public Relations management is what I studied so I excel in it and enjoy it very much. Worked on great shows like the voice sa, survivor sa, the bachelor sa and miss SA. Always willing to learn.

Good learning experience
Working at multichoice is always busy and fun at times. The people I work with are amazing and they male coming to work interesting. Being able to assist customers is key and makes work more productive because at the end the customer is happy.
