Great Learning curve
Firstly Multichoice is an big and amazing company to work for, it is a high volume call centre. My relationship with my colleagues is SUPER we are very close as a team. I’ve grown to the fact that working there is building and preparing you to take ownership, own your call and should be able to give great customer service all through. I enjoy the rotation of shifts and also to be able to connect with the customers in all aspects of problem solving. The most challenging aspects come when we offline we still gotta give our best to reach good customer service.
Pros: It’s a great place to work if you studying
Cons: Demanding

It is a great company to work for,get more knowledge about media and market.
The Multichoice call centre is one of the most busiest call centre. We get more than 10 000 calls per day and needs to be resolved on the first time basis. We communicate with every problem or issue that we have regarding the customers query with my colleague and do a follow up if not resolved on the first time basis. All the queries must be resolved immediately and if not it's escalated to the relevant department and customer satisfaction is the first aspect of a call centre. Assisting customer and acknowledging them on how the product or service priced, informing them what the company offers and on how you can get hold of the product or service. Dealing with irate customers and system problems when the customer has requested it a long time ago and it needs to be done asap.
Pros: Learn to handle different client
Cons: Under paying

Engineering
I enjoyed every aspect of Multichoice since I started working there. Everyone is treated as equals and the company is a great example of companies that help employees develop themselves, regular in-house training programs and open days to get all divisions of the company to get together to learn more about what they do. Open Days for employees to celebrate new launches or special events like Big Brother and Idols. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the people of Multichoice and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work there to obtain the experience of a lifetime.
Pros: Great opportunity to grow
Cons: Less working hours

Excellent learning curve
Most of the time we were required to work as a team and for me that taught me a lot in terms of learning from others. You learn new things and gather up new ideas. The work environment was quite excellent because we were provided with a gym and as well as a cinema to relax your mind. I've learnt how to communicate well with my peers and as well as with customers. At first it was a challenge because Multichoice was my first job so I found it very challenging at first to communicate effectively until I got to learn different personalities. What was challenging at times was to deal with irate customers. And as well as working night shifts
Pros: Great opportunity to learn how to deal with customers
Cons: Shifts

Happy Work Environment
The company that I worked for was great. I enjoyed my time there. However it came to an end because it was to grow and seek greener pastures elsewhere. I have learnt a lot at MultiChoice, such as how the VOD (video-on-demand) space works and I’ve accumulated vast experience as a digital media specialist. Working on Box Office, DStv Now and Supersport has its challenges but it’s fulfilling. I’d recommend the company any day.
Pros: Great organizational culture and a work environment
Cons: Shift hours

Best working environment
I worked for a company that has great passion for customer service, which is where i learned a lot about being customer centric and putting myself in customers' shoes. My day to day duties were to provide support for my agencies(branches) in order to ensure that they're well equipped to service our customers. I enjoyed working for the company because the environment is vibrant and upbeat. I had a great relationship with my co-workers as we worked well together as a team and had respect for each other, one of the company's values is mutual respect. I worked in a highly pressured, stressful and ever changing environment whereby information is vital therefore lack of proper communication sometimes caused a lot of inconsistencies and miscommunication from staff members.
Pros: Great benefits
Cons: Opportunities given to friends
