Great organizational culture and best place to work
Being a banker in a small town like Eshowe requires tolerance, understanding and patience. Most of my clients are older people, sometimes illiterate and they require a level of respect, which I've been able to provide to them. My colleagues and I have become a close family, we do team buildings to nurture the relationship, which helps us cope through the stressful and fast-paced environment. I've learnt patience bears fruits and more hands are better than one, which is required on this career. I enjoy being on my toes and not knowing where my next client will come from, seeing smile of satisfaction from my client; a simple 'thank you'. My challenges ranges from failing to convince a client on a product that I know for sure could be best to managing his/her finances which damage financial record.
Pros: Meeting different people and ensuring I deliver the best way possible and knowing my clients achieve their financial goals.

Eager and willingness to learn
I current am a teller and enquiries clerk. My other job experiences within Nedbank are as follows: Operating switchbaord Backoffice/admin Teller 1 and holding treasury I also love to assist consultants where needed if it means making their job a bit lighter. I am a strong peoples person, i have a willingness to learn new things. Always strive for perfection and work well with others. I meet deadlines and believe there are no room for mistakes. My moto is "first time on time correct everytime". I love administration and secretarial work and i know that i am what you need and the right person to fill this vacancy.

The company i work for Ned bank
Ned bank is a good company to work for. I was given an opportunity to be on a Forex leaner ship which I did not pay for. The leaner ship helped me to understand the forex aspect in the Bank and I loved that. It is challenging especially when it comes to the RATES. The most challenging aspect is when you need to negotiate a rate wit the client and the client don't accept and you need to convince the client that what you are quoting is the best possible rate for the day, and you end up getting the deal. My day start at eight until half past four but some days till seven o'clock. I have a good relationship with my colleges, being a Team leader it has taught me a lot. Having different people in the team from different cultures and religion you learn to understand the people differently and treat them in a way that you don't discriminate them according to their culture or religion.
Pros: The are oppotunities for growth especially the Forex side of the Bank

Corporate World
Nedbank is a company that worries about the well-being of their staff. Hence my reason for giving them 15 years of service. I think its time for me to go abroad and increase my knowledge and skills.

Improved conditions of employment, growth opportunities
various opportunitiesgreat working environment, promotion opportunies. great place to work for. paid on time. i use my own car. i am getting paid mileage for using my car. petrol allowance paid out, standby allowance is also paid out. i work in a team environment. i am also allowed to work independantly. i knock off as soon as i finish my work. any work done after hours is paid for in the form of overtime
