Adaptable to change and new development, Fast learner and earger for new opportunities

Currently, working at Nedbank as Credit Analyst for 10 years including credit administrator and I am the team player who have ability to work under pressure. I have a strong communication skills, great commitment, integrity, honesty, reliable and attention to detail. Challenge to succeed at new task or change always uplift my eagerness to learn fast and build myself confident that I will succeed in meeting requirement of any position .

Daily Routine

A typical day involves managing excess reports daily. I visit at least eight clients monthly to develop solutions on there accounts. Client in risk are normally in financial distress. We are also a reporting division and look after the banks impairments.

Pros: Fantastic place to work however after 31 years i am loofking for a change.
Cons: Long distance to work

Team player, accountability, responsibility

I started working @ Nedbank in 2008 as a call centre agent, in 2011 I moved to credit card department (legal) where I was liasing with external collections on behalf of the bank as a credit administrator. Was then given an opportunity to work as a client liaison officer , dealing with all the queries from , Ombudsmen, Hello Peter, and all different queries from the clients

The company i work for Ned bank

Ned bank is a good company to work for. I was given an opportunity to be on a Forex leaner ship which I did not pay for. The leaner ship helped me to understand the forex aspect in the Bank and I loved that. It is challenging especially when it comes to the RATES. The most challenging aspect is when you need to negotiate a rate wit the client and the client don't accept and you need to convince the client that what you are quoting is the best possible rate for the day, and you end up getting the deal. My day start at eight until half past four but some days till seven o'clock. I have a good relationship with my colleges, being a Team leader it has taught me a lot. Having different people in the team from different cultures and religion you learn to understand the people differently and treat them in a way that you don't discriminate them according to their culture or religion.

Client and work experiences

Working with a customers is very challenge and at the same time very educating because you learn patience and learn how to deal with different types of people with their behaviours. I have learnt how to deal with difficult users by just providing them with what they want and discussing behaviours after the work has been done, I have learnt to listen and take time before responding and to think and understand what the user really wants then do as they want. I enjoy users that are not difficult and not always want favours but follow the procedure as that make it easy when the need for favour comes. What challenges me is when a user does not understand troubleshooting procedures and when you explain they just want to escalate. I have a very strong and funny team members, very helpful and will never leave you to drawn. Some days are very calm and work just flow easily and some days you just need a barocca. But above all we learn each day and one needs to keep positive. ICAN attitude.

Excellent Learning Curve

Nedbank is a great place to work for, very challenging and the pressure can be rough, dealing with clients all the time, going the extra mile for you're clients, learn new things every day example the systems and different types of people and their expectations. Enjoy working with others. Most challenging part is to satisfy you're client and working under pressure when it gets busy.

Slow progress

Challenging and highly difficult to leave the branch and broaden ones shoulders in other departments Long hours. And tedious uncorolated working processes.
