Nice benefits
We a support and admin function for sales teams. We have busy days calling customers trying to convince to switch the salary account to Nedbank accounts. Than call client who already have nedbank accounts but not utilising it , we call them to convince them to utilise their accounts. We do fica for over 14000 clients whos fica is unresolved, we have telephone queiries and reports, bank recon. I have a good understanding with my colleagues just a few that work on my nerves and are lazy. I have learned to push beyond boundaries. The most challenging aspect is reporting to someone who is never satisfied with the work we do no matter how hard I work and time and effort is put in.

I regard myself as a hardworking, reliable, self-motivated individual who have the ability to perform under pressure and deliver quality work. I have a very strong quantitative background obtained from academic studies. I am competent in most quantitative models used in risk management environment such as statistical analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, forecasting and planning. I have obtained a solid knowledge in risk management throughout credit risk, market risk including valuation and VaR models, and operational risk areas including the impact of each of these risks to balance sheet management areas within the banking sector which includes both regulatory, economic capital, liquidity risk management as this play a very important role in running the bank.

Pushing Boundries
My Typical day work is followed by an events calendar and adhoc events and day to day administration. I work in a team of 8 and I love working in a team because the success of our events show the passion and knowledge of all. We work together and collaborate well. I have worked for the company for 18 years and I have learnt loyalty and team work is very important to deliver world class service. I have adapted to the company values which have grown in me over the years, traits that are opened to be shared. I enjoy everything about my job and the diversity I am exposed to daily. The most challenging aspect about my job is that I am a perfectionist and things have to be done right the first time.

BLENDING WELL WITH DIFFERENT CHARECTERS OF INDIVIDUALS AND ALSO CORPORATES BEHAVIOURS.
Working for Nedbank has been great, a great learning curve, and great growth opportunities if you have a manager that values growth and fairness. typical work days are during month ends, as we making sure to close all the deals that were opened during that month. in my Branch Team work is essential that what I enjoy the most about coming to work daily. the most challenging aspect about my current job is rarely. clients will always be clients with their own views I have learn to immune to the negative comments, rather use them as positive critics because at the end of the day am their banker.

Fast learner
im currently working as a Verification analyst that involves working with people internal and external , and to detect and prevent any fraudulent transactions. What enjoy is to protecting the bank from these fraudulent scheme at the same time helping the clients to get what they want , as im working with clients buying Cars and overdraft applications
