I have a gain a good understanding of business risk and other related risks over my working years.

I have a gain a good understanding of business risk and other related risks over my working years. I currently serve as a Risk Manager, Enterprise-Wide-Risk and responsible for the identification, assessment and management of business units risk .I conduct risk monitoring reviews, to identify risk exposures and enhance any policy gabs. I play a significant role in the development of risk monitoring programmes and the implementation of enterprise wide risk frame work across business units. I monitor, assess and report on Enterprise-Wide-Risk.

Pros: I held various positions in the past, such as a Compliance Officer at the National Credit Regulator (NCR) where I was involved in setting up compliance monitoring and investigations programmes. I worked as a Manager, Internal Auditor as Standardbank and as a Credit Risk officer.

I Sindiswa Ratsebe I have been in my current company for the period of 1p years now where i gained a lot of experience from teller work,management,coaching and internal audits. I am always taking a front stand within a team striving for a team to achieve their goals and leave values of the organisation. Challenges are the one makes me more strong on the organisatio as i normally take them as my learning steps,that shouls build both individuals and the team. Working in a call centre

Working in a call centre is an extremely stressful job. The environment is not employee friendly as any problems raised are brushed aside or not dealt with adequately. There is no employment equity as not all employees are treated equal. It is very demotivating working in such an environment.

Pros: Helping clients to solve their queries
Cons: Long working hours. Working on public holidays

I regard myself as a hardworking, reliable, self-motivated individual who have the ability to perform under pressure and deliver quality work. I have a very strong quantitative background obtained from academic studies. I am competent in most quantitative models used in risk management environment such as statistical analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, forecasting and planning. I have obtained a solid knowledge in risk management throughout credit risk, market risk including valuation and VaR models, and operational risk areas including the impact of each of these risks to balance sheet management areas within the banking sector which includes both regulatory, economic capital, liquidity risk management as this play a very important role in running the bank.

The only constant in life is change, i believe in growth

Turnaround times are one of the key components in my current role. Collaboration with other departments within the Bank that services my clients. I have good respectable relations with my co-workers. I build mature/honest relationships with my co-workers that enables us to have difficult conversations when we need to and hold each other accountable to operate as functional teams. I all the knowledge about the role I was in at the time in a short space of time. Business Banking Admin I drew up credit agreements, letters of guarantees, reconciliation of suspense accounts, open and closing of chq account, queries etc. Service Manager - I didn't only learn the technical functions of the role but also people skills as I dealt face-to-face with client. How to handle conflict or calm down a frustrated client. Also lessons that that

Programme Management Nedbank

Mostly supporting Project manager with their issues so I coach/ mentor them on various aspects of risk/issues, processes and tools I have a specialist background and generally am sought after by co workers to assist in testing/ troubleshooting and innovation brainstorming as well as delivery issues/ bottlenecks Managing relationships is extremely important I enjoy the satisfaction of adding value and being part of a successful team so this is always my ambition i.e. to build on successes and support those who need assistance Dealing with stakeholders who have no intentions to be a part of the programme or they intend to sabotage projects, sometimes unintentionally due to conflicts of interest e.g. BSC objectives don't align so Im responsible to find win-win and common ground where a joint success story can be achieved because without adding value, our initiatives are useless.

Pros: Great stepping stone especially insight into Project MI and tools
Cons: Not a long term position for me so its time to move

Excellent learning curve

I am a driven, self motivated individual who is outgoing and thoroughly enjoys working within a vibrant team. I have a great working relationship with my co-workers and I am generally easy to get along with. I adapt easily to change and enjoy a good challenge. I'm a go- getter, quick thinker and an overall creative. Currently pursuing a qualification in Public Relations (03rd year) and I cannot wait to put all this theory into practice! I am an excellent communicator, posses awesome interpersonal skills and I make it my personal mission to thrive at everything I do. I enjoy the organisational aspect of events moreover if it entails communication with relevant stakeholders. I would like an opportunity to harness my skills around scheduling and time management.

I like the corporate environment,

I am a dedicated and motivated individual who has over 10 years’ experience in the corporate world. I also have 6 years’ experience in the Retail world as an owner of my own business. I have a vast experience in the project management field ranging from project coordinator, to tools support and in my current role as project support. I also deal with a large number of project managers on a daily basis, assisting them with issues on their schedules and provide an exceptional service. The numerous service excellence awards I have received over the past 2 years bear testimony to my people skills, ability to quickly identify issues and resolve them timorously and courteously. I am always willing to go the extra mile and I am willing to share my knowledge and expertise freely with those around me.

Excelent learning curve

Good to work at nedbank.I have a great understanding with my colleages.It is a very busy environment .My day start with initialising my cash as per previous day.And taking over stock.I have learned so much.Handling irate clients and giving world class service
