Always go the extra mile and work after mynnormalnwork hours to bring betyerbreaultsAlwaysllll the company have changed witth management that dont know how to speak to they staff. Company rules is no swearing but yet there are senior managemebt abusing staff.

Great learning
Pick n pay is not concerned about the welfare of its employees as there is constant moving around of roles without communicating effective to the affected. Also the retrenchment rate and staff turnover is ridiculously high living most people unemployed.

Great opportunity
Ultimately it was a good place to work at. Co workers were easy to get alone with. This company honestly helped me develop people skills and how to deal with different personalities in one day. Working hours were honestly not that bad. Any assistance needed were properly attended to.

Excellent
Customer service is the most important thing that I learned and working with lot of people and I learned to talk different languages with customers. Customers came first in my job. I learned to deal with my stress after work not in front of customer. I learned to be calm and collected in front of my customers and deal with my colleagues in a right way and to be faithful at work and be on time always

Fast learner
Working at pick n pay its like working with customers,to make customer find what their are looking for,as like packing it neat and nice at the storeroom so that if its not available at the shop..to be easier to get it at the storeroom were i work..its what i enjoy the most,and i learned a lot about the job and also knowing the stork,for example which stork is selling..

Very hard worker
i am a very haed workig person and take full responsibilities of my deprtment, i can work long hours including sundays and public holidays. i focas all my energy on doing my job and making sure that the profit comes in and the waste will be controlled incuding the shrink

Gained a lot of experience
Working at Pick n' pay (family store) had helped me alo t because I had learned good and bad things. Dealing with different types of people was indeed a great and Funny challenge of my Life. It was so sad of me to be told that my contract had expired and they can't renew it because the shop had lot of Staff. I'm everyday marketing hoping to get a new job.
